“Enchantment is the oldest form of medicine.”

Tarot & Psychology |
Swiss psychologist Carl Jung , the founder of Analytical Psychology, discovered “The Internal Tarot” of the human mind with his notion of archetypes (universal traits). Arguing that the Tarot's 78 fundamental images constitute the psychic constellation of the human being making them ideal tools for therapy.
Jung believed that the evolution of the present is linked to the past, just as the conscious mind is linked to the unconscious and that Tarot cards are a visible manifestation of this connection, forcing the hidden to rise to the surface through accurate interpretation. Tarot is utilized by professional psychologist, therapists and life coaches today. |
Tarot & Science |
"The law of conservation of energy (Émilie du Châtelet) states that the energy of a closed system must remain constant—it can neither increase nor decrease. The universe itself is a closed system, so the total amount of energy in existence has always been the same. The forms that energy takes, however, are constantly changing and convert from one form to another." -- Scientific American.
The interpretation of the Tarot is distinctly linked to the energy channeled from that of the 'seeker' and the 'reader', hence a collaboration is born out of the connected energies that surrounds & make up all of us. |
Tarot as a Mirror |
Tarot is a mirror, broken into 78 shards that reflect fascists of both the conscious and unconscious mind. Start putting the shards together in front of us and we see more of our own reflection. Turn those shards towards others and we either limit our view by projecting ourselves on those around us or by reflecting others desires and intentions instead of our own.
Like breadcrumbs left in the forest to find our way home, the shards will glint in the light beckoning us to follow on a journey of self-discovery. |
